He is the founder and Executive Director of The Art Song Preservation Society of New York - dedicated to promoting the art song tradition through education and performance. His background includes extensive study with renowned vocal coaches and collaborative pianists, and he has judged numerous vocal competitions, underscoring his expertise in vocal performance. Blair holds degrees in Voice Performance, Vocal Pedagogy, French Language, Literature and Culture. He continues to perform and coach, sharing his passion for vocal artistry with singers across the country.
Nicholas Roehler, pianist and coach, has served on the music staff for LA Opera and Opera Theatre of St. Louis, and was a member of LA Opera’s Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program. He has collaborated with renowned conductors and prepared works with celebrated artists, including Renée Fleming and Rod Gilfrey. Nicholas has also coached at Seattle Opera, Detroit Opera, and participated in notable recital series at San Francisco Opera and the Colburn School. He holds a Bachelor of Music from SUNY Potsdam and a Master of Music and Specialist in Music from the University of Michigan, studying under Martin Katz, and is an alumnus of the Merola Opera Program.
